First blog post

This is the post excerpt.

Is ignorance a form of conspiracy, or just choosing to ignore a significant historical event such as related to Saddam’s goals at the beginning of the Iraq Iran War. Is this normal human psychology, for professionals in all disciplines? This blog will explore the what, when, where, and why of a United Press International (UPI) article from October 6, 1980 about Saddam’s military plans for the Strait of Hormuz, how it was stopped, and why experts seem to have forgotten about this pivotal piece of Persian Gulf history from 1980.  Reference at UPI:  United Press International Archive article about Oman’s role in pre-days of Iran/Iraq War published 10/06/1980

I am currently retired from working in a hospital clinical laboratory, have a degree in Behavioral Science. For 40+ years have had a passion for advocacy of bill in Congress that would challenge all youth in the USA between 17th and 18th birthdays to on-and-off civic education talks on relevance to them, and consideration of volunteering for Service-Learning experiences with non-profits, AmeriCorps, etc. or military service. My problem is even supporters of the National Youth Service remain silent to me about this highly cost-effective new Federal legal requirement, wonder why?
